The Region Reacts To North Korean Leadership Change.

As expected the abrupt leadership transition in North Korea has those in the region quite nervous. No one seems certain as to how the newest North Korean leader will proceed. The tensions in the region is already at an all time high, and the willingness of the Chinese to aid its most loyal ally isn’t a comforting sign.
North Korea does have a small nuclear arsenal that consists of about 6 nuclear bomb. Their biggest threat as explained in the article below would be to possibly destabilize the region. They could pose a threat to the American troops stationed in South Korea as well as South Korea itself. North Korea could also be persuaded to covertly sell one of its nuke’s to a radical organization who feels the same way they do about the West.
If this seems as though I am speculating way too much the countries in the region appear to echo this sentiment. The South Korean and Japans stock market were down on Monday. South Korea commenced a series of defense military exercises along with the test launching of short range missiles. Troops stationed in Japan were also alerted just in case Kim Jung Un decides to follow the radical footsteps of his now diseased father. You can read more about what took place today in the region here http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/checkpoint-washington/post/north-korea-nuclear-fears-heightened-by-leaders-death/2011/12/19/gIQAZqJW4O_blog.html

Leadership Change in North Korea.

According to the Associated Press yesterday, the former North Korean dictator, Kim Jung Il died at the age of 69. The report states that Il died as a result of health complications he had been battling for a long time. In 2010, Kim Jung Il chose his future successor. He appointed his third son Kim Jung Un to assume power like his father had done with him. Jung Il was in power for nearly 17 years. Kim Jung Un like his father is known for his bad temper along with his allegiance to North Korea’s most trusted ally communist China. The tension in the region is already at an all time high especially after North Korea attacked a South Korean island in the past few months. How much China is able to manipulate Un to escalate an already fractured relationship with the United States still remains to be seen. The possibility of a military conflict with the South though just went up a notch. You can read more about Kim Jung Il’s sudden death here http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/A/AS_KOREA_KIM_JONG_IL?SITE=AP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2011-12-18-22-08-46

Bah, Humbug for Congress.

Unfortunately in the last 20 years, political correctness has help to destroy some of the traditions and colloquial expressions that are synonymous with American culture. This censored practice has allowed
some organizations and individuals gain some notoriety for championing such a bogus cause. Did you know that Congress is forbidden to wish their Constituents a Merry Christmas, or even a Happy New Year on official stationary? Ok, I know what some will argue. What about separation of church and state. Sadly, Christmas has become a secular holiday. Christmas has become a day where families exchange gifts with each other more than the celebration of the birth of Christ. Most Americans celebrate Santa
than they do the Lord on this specific day. This Holiday has become a cultural phenomenon for most families not all though. So even though Christmas itself originally celebrates a religious event, the idea that a member of the House of Representatives who is suppose to reflect the values of those who elected them to public office in good will can't wish their constituents a Merry Christmas is ludicrous. Now, even if Christmas was completely a secular holiday political correct individuals would still object to such an occasion. They object to the use of the words Happy New Year. It may seem silly, but what could
they possibly be offended to by New Year's? The answer is very simple. They are appalled by the idea that anyone should find a time to renew their hope. They can't believe that anyone has the audacity to think that a specific date can symbolize the renewing of hope, a joyous occasion full of glee, and absence of concern over what anyone else thinks. Not walking on egg shells every time you speak, write, or think goes against every principle of political correctness. This is why I would like to wish everyone a
Merry Christmas, and a happy New Year's. To all of my Jewish friends I would like to wish you a happy Hanukah. You can read more about Scrooge's presence in Congress here

Stimulus Part 2.

One of the most practical lessons I learned as a child was that every action has some type of reaction or consequence that accompanies it. So every decision a person makes will result in some type of consequence. For instance, if you put your hand on a hot stove you will burn yourself no matter if it is a low flame or a high. The severity of the burn will depend on how long your hand is on the stove along with how high the burner is. Well, apparently Liberals and their leadership never learned this kind of a lesson when they were attending leadership 101.
Let’s apply this logic to the idea that investing in infrastructure will create millions of shovel ready jobs once again. In the last stimulus package President Obama claimed that a large portion of the money would be devoted to improving the nation’s infrastructure. According to the President these projects would create a surplus of jobs in construction and other areas involved in such a task, but this never happened. What did happen was tax payer money got wasted, and the only shoveling was done by the President himself on what he sold to the American people.
Now Liberals are trying to claim that this time around it will really result in the creation of jobs. That this time around it will create a boost that the economy badly need. They insist that improving highways, building new schools, constructing new bridges, and improving other areas will finally do the trick. The problem is that the government is supposed to be doing this already. State taxes and federal taxes are already allocated to take care of all of these problems. What happened to the money already squeezed out of tax payers that were suppose to improve little Sally’s school? I thought that the last stimulus would have taken care of any pot holes along highway 1.
The truth is that the money that was intended to help to fix all of these problems got spent creating others. It got used to serve other purposes like keeping certain lobbyist happy. Does Solyndra sound familiar to anyone? Could infrastructure possibly create jobs, maybe? The problem is that we don’t have money that can just be spent guessing. If states weren’t so overwhelmed with federal red tape more highways and roads would get fixed. If the NEA actually did their job, then money could be spent to improve schools. President Obama needs to realize that no matter how many times he tries to pass another massive piece of legislation saying that it will create numerous jobs throughout infrastructure is about as valid as saying that putting your hand back on the stove won’t hurt as much this time because your burned yourself once before. Conservatives need to continue to put pot holes whenever Liberals decide to use this sort of political argument to further bankrupt our nation. Greece Buys Itself More Time.

Today the Greek Parliament passed the latest round of austerity measures in an attempt to prevent the country from defaulting on its financial obligations. Violent protests took place all throughout the country as unions encouraged at least 100,000 workers to strike as a result of these latest cuts. These financial measure come after many in the European Zone feared that Greece would not be able to salvage their economy. You can read more about the measures the Greek Parliament approved here http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/dee75858-fa29-11e0-8e7e-00144feab49a.html#axzz1bGgLFyXf

More About Occupation Wackos.

Data continues to trickle in about the individuals that are participating in Occupation Wall Street. Now we are getting a breakdown of their political persuasion, age, socio economic background, and voting record. All interesting facts, but what concerns me isn’t who is participating in the radical movement. I am appalled more by their extremist rhetoric, lack of respect for authorities, their willingness to undermine our American core values, and their entitlement mentality. In other words, their lack of democratic principles makes them part of the problem not the solution.
Last week I posted an article warning people that inaccurate comparisons between the Tea Party and Occupation Wall Street were going to be made. Well, President Obama in a TV interview made that exact comparison. Also, the rhino governor of New Jersey Chris Christie did as well in a speech in his home state. Occupation Wall street does not have any semblance of the Tea Party movement. There isn’t any need to elaborate, but even the most basic distinction can be made. The Tea Party inspired Americans to participate in the political process in order to remove ineffective politicians from office, and Occupation Wall Street stand around a park pretending they have megaphone complaining about how the government owes them more benefits. The best way to combat those who are intellectually incompetent as well as those who feel entitled is by voting those they support out of office. They want benefits, then they will have to roll up their sleeves to earn them not just hold public sites hostage. According to this article t48% of those taking part in the movement support Barack Obama you can read a further break down of these individual’s here http://blogs.wsj.com/metropolis/2011/10/19/who-is-occupying-wall-street-a-pollster-surveys-protester/

Occupational Wackos Across The World.

Occupation Wall Street’s message seems to be resonating among radicals across several countries around the world. The common theme in their message is for individuals to defy authorities, and to use violence to rid themselves of their frustrations. They seem to want social equality through means of redistributing the wealth of those who have to them. They refuse to stand up for themselves by actually looking for a job. They prefer to demand that they be given a job. It’s honestly starting to resemble the protest in the 60’s when hippie’s started acting in a similar way. I hope that President Obama continues to embrace this radical movement as it helps to diminish any credibility he might had left. You can read more about the different protests around the world here http://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/what-the-occupy-protests-tell-us-about-the-limits-of-democracy/2011/10/17/gIQAay5YsL_print.html

France Faces a Possible Credit Downgrade.

The European Zone is currently facing extreme economic problems. The largest problems lie in the possibility that Greece may default on its current economic obligations. Several countries including France, Germany, and Great Britain attempted to salvage the failing Greek economy through a series of bailout packages. Despite of all of their efforts though Greece is on the brinks of economically collapsing.
France now faces the consequences of participating in bailing out several of the countries including Greece inside of the European Zone. Moody’s, credit agency, and has warned the French of a negative outlook for their credit rating do to all of their current expenditures. France follows the trend of countries in Western Europe who have gotten such an ominous warning from Moody’s. Italy earlier last month proposed several austerity measures to prevent a possible downgrading of their credit rating. A summit will take place on Sunday between all of the 17 countries that form the Euro Zone to discuss the options that are available to ensure that Greece doesn’t default. Massive work strikes are already taking place in Greece, but it could get out of hand if they are unable to design some type of rescue package. Libya Remains In Chaos.

Libya remains in a state of chaos following the ousting of their former leader Momar Gaddafi. Several small pockets of loyalist have chosen to use guerrilla tactics to hinder any progress from taking place. They plan to disrupt Libya’s transition from a dictatorship by carrying out bombings, oil field strikes, and assassination attempts against foreigners and members of the National Transition Council. Libya never truly establish a stable government council so the threat of violence is concerning. O there countries in the region that also experienced revolutionary movements are still dealing with violent clashes. Obama embraces Occupation Wall Street.

This past weekend the protests that originated in New York better known as Occupation Wall Street spread to cities all over the world. This triggered a flurry of attention by the media. Some world leaders spoke out against those who chose to get involved in this anarchist movement, while others weren’t so forceful. As usual, instead of discouraging individuals from targeting the section of the population that pay the most taxes even if some consider this to be corporate greed President Obama chose to embrace the members and rhetoric of this radical movement. In fact, it should be alarming that even China who currently practices some of the harshest forms of repression applauded Occupation Wall Street’s efforts to seek economic reform.
President Obama managed to include the members of Occupation Wall Street in his speech at the unveiling of the MLK monument in Washington this weekend. He made an analogy between those who are currently fighting against capitalism, free enterprise, and the ability to be successful with those who were part of the civil rights movement. I still insist that Barack Obama hasn’t a clue what Dr. King dream was, and I will assume that this blatant misunderstanding has to do with his lack of caring no t ignorance. Dr. King spoke out against those who chose to view race as a qualification. In his Dream speech he proposes the idea that it would be ideal if we lived in a color blind society. The complete opposite of what the President has done so far.
Barack Obama has used his race as a political tool. He has resorted to this sort of tactic out of desperation since his political strategies have failed miserably. Dr. King’s style of protesting resembles that of the Tea Party more than that of Occupy Wall Street. Those who were part of the Civil Rights movement didn’t want hand outs. They want an opportunity to have an opportunity to succeed. Those in Occupation Wall Street are advocating for the elimination of a group of individuals who are now enjoying the fruit of their labor. They are advocating that they won’t tolerate a government that doesn’t give in to their economic demands.
Barack Obama’s reelection situation must be quite dire if he is reaching that far out. The unveiling of the monument should have been all about MLK and the civil rights movement instead of the President’s reelection bid. If those involved in Occupation Wall Street had a dream they would work hard to pursue it, and one day they would have a chance to reap the reward of being successful. Instead, they aspire to get as many as possible from socialist ideologues like Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer. Americannomics As A Solution.

By James Blaise.
Hello everyone, no doubt that by now you’ve heard every conceivable alternative as to how to solve the deficit crisis. I want to offer the simplest solution of them all. I deemed it Americannomics.
It appears that Barack Obama refuses to listen to any fiscal proposal unless it somehow benefits his current lavish lifestyle, or unless it benefits one of the organizations that helped him gain residency at 1500 Pennsylvania Avenue. So let’s apply Americannomics to fit such an example. Let’s keep it as simple as eating peas.
First, you may ask what Americannomic’s is. If you have to ponder longer than five seconds what drives the American economy, then you will verify how deeply progressive propaganda has been engrained into the mind of every American. Americannomic is the simple idea that businesses of every kind make the economy grow not any governmental entity. It is manifested in the innovations in most fields resulting from the competition among individuals who want to earn a living as opposed to having one handed to them. Finally, it allows individuals to reward themselves when their own hard work whether it is through the advancement of an intellectual property, or even through the investment into making their lives better bears fruit. It is the mentality that the government only exists in most cases to protect its people, and to prosecute and punish those individuals who choose to willfully break existing laws.
Now let’s apply Americannomics in a way that Barack Obama will fully grasp. Ok Mr. President, the only reason you have the privilege of flying aboard such a sophisticated plane like Air Force 1 that possesses enough technology to ensure your safety rivaled only by a craft in a Star Wars movie is due to the constant competition among aircraft manufacturers that compete for the opportunity to construct such a wondrous Arial vehicle. I hope that you aren’t thinking that any American despite your every attempt to damage the country we all love would begrudge you such an accommodation, but it’s necessary for you to understand how even the President of the United States on a daily basis benefit from the economic principles written so eloquently by Adam Smith that you often spill so much vitriol about. Mr. President, the only reason why you are able to have secure conversations with other heads of state is mostly impart do to the incredible communication technology now available. These encrypted devices were developed by companies who enhanced their product to make it possible to prevent others from intercepting your calls. These technological improvements weren’t done just to please you, but they were designed with the intentions that you and other important individuals can conduct their business in a safe environment. The armored vehicle you ride in as part of your motorcade any time you leave the White House was built by a company that surpassed other enterprises in their attempt to construct the most durable vehicle reliable enough to safely transport even the President of the United States. Finally, you know those golf clubs you like to swing so much? Yes sir, the ones you spend more time with than you do in helping advance freedom and our best interest through your decrees and speeches? Those clubs were crafted by a company competing against rivaling manufacturers to make golf a fun experience. An experience where you can get away from it all like you do so often.
Americannomics will only work when the government ceases to dictate the course of the economy with its excessive regulations. The only individuals who can demand such a needed change is the American people. It’s time to stop just writing about it. It’s time for every American to stand up to those inside of the Beltway. They are there to represent you and you and only you can force them to stop wasting time and resources in negotiating meetings. If every American who tactfully states to their representatives in congress their wishes with the notion that if their demands of spending cuts along with an immediate reduction of the national debt would result in the lost of their seat in the next election, then this would force the President’s hand. Let the power of the American voice be heard in every corner of Washington. My voice is no more meaningful than anyone else’s: therefore, it’s reassuring to know that we are one nation as opposed to a nation of one.

Will The Real Candidate Please Stand Up?

By James Blaise.
Hello everyone, pundits are now once again awake after their unsuccessful pursuit of the Palin bus across the Eastern seaboard that Al Gore no doubt believes increased our carbon emission. They now scurry along salivating as every bandwagon get hitched for 2012. Each one prepared to derail anyone who opposes the so called chosen one. The GOP field has commenced to take shape, while the Obama administration stands firmly behind all of its failed policies. One of the most important personality traits that any individual in any powerful position must possess is credibility. Unfortunately, facts show that neither Barack Obama nor several candidates who have expressed their intent to become the Republican nominee possess this crucial trait. This isn’t intended to single out the flaws of a single individual, but to demonstrate the importance of ensuring that the candidate who defeats Obama in 2012 truly embodies all of the values that represent us as a nation as a whole.
The CNN debate that took place in New Hampshire among 9 prospecting GOP candidates made it clear what their main strategy will be. They intend to address all of the flaws of every policy set in place by the Obama administration. This strategy does not lack in merit. How can anyone defend a deflating stimulus package, an expanding government accompanied by a shrinking private sector, an increase of unemployment, the creation of an illegal and unconstitutional healthcare policy, a failed response to an enormous oil spill, and taking over banks and car companies? These are just a few of the policies enacted by the current administration so far.
It doesn’t account for our President playing 75 rounds of golf, attending various concerts, taking joy rides to New York, etc. The President does deserve to have a vacation, and a President is entitled to some down time. It’s just difficult to take him at his word about everyone needing to tighten up their belts though when he acts in such a reckless manner. It’s difficult to believe how much he truly values the sacrifice our brave men and women in uniform agree upon enlisting if he lives the life of a king instead of that of a commander in chief. How can the grieving family of a soldier or first responder believe that the sacrifice of their love one will help in maintaining the existence of our great nation when their President apologetically bows to the same states that provide a haven for the extremists who killed their love one?
American voters who cherish our great nation must remain vigilant for politicians that disguise themselves under a cloak that is Red, White, and Blue to later on utilize their position to serve their own purpose. For instance, how can the Speaker of the House claim to stand strong against the destructive agenda of the administration, and even go so far as to admonish the President for his lack of honesty about Libya. Yet later on he was photographed on a golf course with a plastered smile after a round of golf with an arm around the shoulder of the same man he so harshly chastised. This upcoming Presidential election must consist of candidates who not only articulate proposals to rectify the poor state of the economy along with other issues, but they must have the track record demonstrating their commitment to advancing the true values upon which this nation was founded upon through their policies as well. The lesson that Barack Obama taught everyone especially those who voted for him should be that fancy suits, creative slogans, nor heart sobs tales can get the job done. Every policy implemented by this administration has embodied the radical ideology once indoctrinated into the mind of a young Chicago Senator. Actions will always speak louder than words.
It’s great that Mitt Romney can fund raise more than Lady Gaga can on her worldwide tour, but he already opted to have a version of universal healthcare while Governor of Massachusetts. How can he contest the unconstitutionality of the Obama care individual mandate, while his own plan has a similar aspect? Newt Gingrich has criticized the Obama administration for its wasteful spending, but will contest 12 of his top aides over a giant bill at Tiffany’s. He will argue against the work ethic of the President as have I, and instead of communicating to the American people his message he chooses to take a two week cruise in the Mediterranean. Of course, no one begrudges him such a luxury though that sounds awful familiar.
Any candidate who shows a commitment to the American people. Any candidate who proves their willingness to assist Congress in tackling entitlement reform. Any candidate who demonstrates their loyalty to our military as oppose to neglecting to mention them except when doing so to boost up poll ratings. Any candidate who can speak to the American people from the heart with a clear understanding of our Constitution. Any candidate whose policies diminishes the size of government along with evaporating the economic choke hold that the federal government now possesses over certain aspects of our economy. Finally, any candidate who will strengthen our relationship with allies like Israel and Great Britain while at the same time stand up to tyranny deserves to reside in Pennsylvania Avenue starting January 2013. A perfect candidate will never exist, but a politician who pretends to be someone they aren’t in their pursuit of power definitely does not belong in such a powerful position.

Common Sense is The Answer.

by James Blaise.
Hello everyone, the mainstream media has now started to focus on the candidates who have now thrown their hats in the ring for the Presidential election next year. So far, for the Republican Party these candidates include former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty, former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney, former CEO of god Father’s Pizza Herman Cain, and former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich. Pundits everywhere have theorized on how these candidates and anyone else that my run could possibly defeat President Obama. Sadly, after evaluating his time in office so far it won’t take much to defeat him. It isn’t going to require a thorough understanding of Robert Dahl’s political models, nor will it require the ability to distinguish the difference between john Locke and THOMAS Hobbes governing principles. What will it take to defeat Barack Obama who has most of the media in his back pocket, and a radical political machine at his disposal to smear anyone who attempts to oppose him in his quest for reelection? The answer is common sense.
Common sense may seem like a simplistic approach, but it truly is the answer. Let’s apply common sense to most of the policies so far put in place by the current administration. It will shock you how simple it is to combat the policies of a man who the Chris Matthews of the world endeared as the man who would save our nation from disaster.
The White House yesterday conceded to the media that the three most concerning aspects of the economy were high gas prices, the stagnant unemployment rate, and the lack of economic growth. The constant increase in gas prices partly stems from Barack Obama opting to put in place a moratorium on off shore drilling in the Gulf of Mexico along with maintaining a ban on drilling in areas that have substantial amounts of oil such as ANWAR in Alaska to salvage his reputation as a deeply concerned environmentalist. Well, the answer is simple as I stated above. If the off shore moratorium got lifted, and companies who have a track record of utilizing environmentally friendly drilling techniques got the opportunity to tap into these oil rich areas it would have a booming effect. The off shore drilling would create thousands of jobs for places such as Louisiana who suffered the most from the BP oil spill along with the Obama moratorium. The drilling in other sites would create jobs around the country, and our own supply would increase, and gradually it would help diminish our dependency on foreign oil. This would also caused gas prices to sharply drop, and it would allow us to sell our oil to other countries as opposed to begging others for their black gold.
The solution to fixing unemployment has a common sense answer as well. The Obama administration has chosen to use the redistribution of wealth as their main model. Also, it has chosen to used tax payer money to solve every single problem that it deemed worthy. This approached has caused taxes to rise, for companies to go elsewhere to avoid the second highest corporate tax rate in the world, for 44 million people to be on food stamps, and for 8 million people to currently be collecting unemployment benefits. The unemployment rate has remained at 9% a staggering amount for quite a long time along with the rate of foreclosures in the housing market.
Once again, the answer does not require several years of experience as a community organizer or a degree from Columbia. If the corporate tax rate got cut, then more companies would be enticed to do business in the United States. This would mean that jobs would be created, and this would also mean that shockingly more money would be collected by the government from paid taxes which would help eliminate the national debt if the federal government managed to only spend within its means. Furthermore, this would allow the economy to grow since it would be driven by the free market as opposed to the suffocating choke hold of Uncle Sam. The United States could once again ensure that the dollar gained strength in the world market, and the idea of depending on the communist Chinese would no longer be a looming possibility.
Finally, the Obama administration has chosen to practice a rather poor style of diplomacy. Barack Obama has bow down to other world leaders, and has aligned itself with radical Arabic nations. The administration wonders why this makes our strongest allies uncomfortable, and why these new so called ties haven’t bore any fruit. The answer is simple. The United State shouldn’t concern itself with what other countries who have always deemed our founding principles as inadequate think. America must stand firm with those countries that have stood with us when others turned their back on us. Our foreign policy should be quite simple. If any country does not respect the sovereignty of Israel, then we aren’t interested in dealing with them. If any country threatens Israel, then we let them know that they are threatening us as well. If any country tries to systematically damage Britain, then they are systematically hurting us and they will have to deal with us as well.
Anyone who chooses to run for President must demonstrate the ability to use common sense. They must prove to the American people that they truly stand for the core principles upon which this nation was founded on as opposed to just doing it through catchy slogans. In short, the candidate that embodies these values and principles in all of their policies has a great chance to defeat Barack Obama in the Presidential election in 2012.

Do Not Pass Go!

Hello everyone, the stories from all over the world in the last week have been captivating especially those surfacing from Japan several days removed from the devastating earthquake and tsunami. The damage sustained by two nuclear power plants in the area has proven deadly. In the Middle East, Saudi Arabia has deployed troops into Bahrain to help that monarchy suppress any protest that could get out of hand. Also, in North Africa Allied forces after the ratification of several UN Resolutions are now helping rebel forces take out Gaddafi’s army of thugs. Despite this excess of events happening throughout the world, it’s necessary to address a crucial domestic issue. This issue is the budget crisis. America is known for its generous heart we are willing to help anyone who encounters a crisis like the one that the Japanese are facing right now, but if immediate drastic measures aren’t taken by the time that the budget crisis gets resolve we are going to be the ones needing assistance from others.
Often intense negotiation sessions are compared to a match of chess. The style of negotiations so far used by Congress regarding the national debt along with the current budget crisis resembles a game of monopoly more than a chess match. Congress already has implemented six temporary continuing resolutions in an attempt to resolve the current federal government’s budget crisis this year. Democrats claim that this matter should be resolved without resorting to more continuing resolutions, but are only willing to reduce the current budget by 6 billion dollars. They aren’t willing to reduce funding for entitlement programs that are responsible for a large portion of the current deficit. They aren’t willing to reduce federal funds for pork barrel or environmental projects either. Some Democratic leaders have proposed a cut in funds appropriated to the defense department and the Pentagon though. According to this logic it’s more important to name a train station after Vice President Biden than it is to help keep America safe.
Let’s expand upon the monopoly analogy though. Liberals are those monopoly players that every time they land on chance, or community chest, or when they pass go they decide to spend every single dollar they get their hands on. They choose to invest in properties that won’t net them much money. They are the players that are broke most of the time so they are hoping to land on free parking before landing on Boardwalk or Park Place. In other words, Liberals aren’t willing to approve a budget resolution that makes legitimate cost cutting measures as well as the cuts they are willing to sacrifice don’t make much of a difference. They seem satisfied with maintaining a budget that has already resulted in catastrophic financial consequences. This attitude has proven disastrous for the American economy through the various financially reckless measures proposed by the Obama administration in the last 2 years.
Republicans have attempted to approach the budget crisis aggressively this time. They have proposed several resolutions that could cut as much as $61 billion from the existing budget. This would make a small dent that could help make federal spending no longer an issue as opposed to a large part of the problem. The problem among GOP leaders exists in the willingness of some to commit themselves to resolutions that aren’t fiscally responsible. This often occurs when certain members of Congress like Senator Olympia Snow choose to vote for anything that might get them more attention as opposed to voting for what’s best for the country. Other more Conservative representatives such as Paul Ryan of Wisconsin are willing to do whatever it takes to ensure that America has a bright future by diminishing the size of the federal government.
The Snow like representatives are the monopoly players that will from time to time make some reasonable moves with the properties they acquire, but for the most part they will go along with whatever the other players tell them to do. They trust that the dice will roll favorably for them. In the other hand, legitimate Conservative members of Congress are the type of monopoly players that will only invest in properties that are going to pay immediate dividend as well as in the future. They are willing to sell off those properties that they can’t afford, and then they will make sure that any money they get from places like free parking is saved in order to help eliminate any existing debt.
The United States federal government has grown exorbitantly for way too long. Congress needs to address the budget crisis with a resolution that will shrink the federal government, and that will finally allow the free market to resuscitate the economy as opposed to putting it on life support with more government controlled programs. Conservative leaders of both chambers need to ensure that legitimate changes are made: otherwise, the future won’t be any different than the present. In fact, if the bullying tactics of Harry Reed and Chuck Schumer succeed Americans in the future won’t be able to pass go to collect our retirement checks, instead it will be a bill to keep paying China more money each year.
